I was captivated by the beautifully renovated hotel, with its tasteful decor and cozy atmosphere. The spacious garden was a perfect spot to enjoy breakfast, served with locally sourced ingredients, while the comfy room was great. The really good quality of the showers was a good surprise that added to the luxurious experience.

Positive, The house was beautifully decorated with a fine garden. The king-size bed was super comfy, and the full English breakfast was just what we needed to start the day! Our host was warm and accommodating. I wish we could have stayed longer 🌟

On arriving at the Birch house it had a very warm festive feel.It was decorated beautifully with Christmas lights and Kathy gave us a friendly welcome and showed us to our rooms.The rooms were spacious,clean and well maintained but also had a cosy feel.Breakfast was excellent with so much to choose from. it would have been great to stay for a longer period.Would definitely reccomend the Birch house to friends and family.

We had a very nice and stylishly furnished room with a huge bathroom in which there was a bathtub and a shower and two washbasins. The living room is very cosy and from the adjoining dining room you can enter it and admire the huge wonderful garden. Parking is easy either in the driveway or on the street. Our hostess and her family are very warm and the freshly prepared breakfast was always very tasty. I'd love to stay here again.

A good stay with charming hosts

Birch House Bed & Breakfast feels like a warm embrace. The hosts are accommodating, our every need was met and personalizing our breakfast to perfection. The house is beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches. We appreciated the spacious room with en-suite facilities and the tranquility of the lovely garden where we enjoyed our morning coffee.

Very warm and friendly atmosphere, feels like you are visiting old friends rather than staying in a hotel. The hotel has been recently refurbished to very high quality.

We had a canny time here! The breakfast was champion, with locally sourced goodies that were just mint. Only downside was the place was a bit outta town, but we managed fine with taxis. Would love to come back for sure!

An excellent, warm welcome. Beautiful, clean spacious room and bathroom with robes. Lovely lounge and a very good breakfast. Loved it so much we tried to book for a second night but it was already full - not suprising with the excellent, all round standards.We would definitely return.

The atmosphere at Birch House is really good. The breakfast is a highlight, with a good selection of locally sourced items served with great attention to detail.

Parking may be tricky.

This is a beautiful B&B very tastfully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower is wonderful. Breakfast was tasty and of good quality we would highly reccomend it and would stay there again.

The whole experience was really lovely. Luxury hotel, incredibly comfortable and absolutely perfect location, we booked the triple room and truly enjoyed it. The room was large and with large beds.

The kids loved the cozy atmosphere, and we all appreciated the lovely little touches like tea, coffee, and cookies. The lounge area overlooking the garden was perfect for family chats.

My kids wished for a bigger play area.
